rto furnace
As an advanced industrial furnace, the RTO - or Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer - is specifically designed to break down volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other hazardous air pollutants discharged by manufacturing processes. The furnace captures these contaminants as its primary operation, then adsorbs and oxidizes them into carbon dioxide and water vapor in accordance with environmental legislation. Features of the RTO include a regenerative heat exchanger system which recovers heat from the exhaust gases to save energy; it is also based on modular design so that scalable capacities can be offered depending on actual production needs. Applications of this type of furnace include such industries as automobile, chemical, pharmaceutical and printed circuit board - that is where VOC emissions often loom especially large.
