bs6 scr system
The Selective Catalytic Reduction System (SCR) on BS6 engine negates the need for a diesel particulate filter, allowing it to generate less CO2. This considerably reduces emissions of nitrogen oxides(NOX), which are harmful to the environment. In the BS6 SCR system, diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), composed of urea-based solution, injects into engine's tailpipe; it then interacts with NOx over a catalyst in order for them to be converted into harmless nitrogen and water. The DEF dosing is so precise that it reduces the risk of engine damage. An advanced catalyst design increases efficiency in particular. Integrated sensors maintain and adjust continuously throughout its service life. Applications of this technology are available in the fields of car, heavy machinery and public transportation, making it as versatile a pollution before the judgment day occurs.
